Ho hum. As usual, just pointless game board pieces being played with. Nobody that will help. Bench Browner and replace him with ANYONE. That is the best way to improve the defense. The rest will have to wait for the off season.

The guys we're looking at aren't intended to be answers to this seasons problems.

They are simply evaluations of what they may or may not be able to offer to us in the future.

We're building a list of candidates for possible future employment, documenting their strengths and weaknesses to see if perhaps they may be a fit for a future role player.

The next Luke Kuechly isn't jumping from team to team trying to land a spot. This is bottom roster role player evaluation. Most are trying out for special teams or a spot on the 2016 camp roster.

Why can't people see that?

This ^^^^^^. Browner simply needs to have a seat. It's best for the team. When the season is over, fess up and admit it was a mistake and you cut him :pissed:.

Thank you, sherlock holmes. How stupid do you really think I am? The point was that it doesn't matter. It isn't interesting. You had a whole off-season to find role players, and all of next off-season to find role players. These guys aren't good enough to be on a team this deep into the season, so what should we expect from them now, or in the future? These players stink, but we're looking at them anyway? Stop hoping for a diamond in the rough and do a better job evaluating talent BEFORE the season. Do you understand?

We see all this mindless crap going on mid-week, every week, but on the field (where it matters) they aren't smart enough to recognize who the worst player on the field is (Browner).

Browner has been bad but all but 2 games the entire D has too. Our pass rush hasn't been very consistant and their middle is always exposed in the run game, the lb.'ers aren't able to contend with TE's or close down the open hole in the middle left by the line and our cb.'s get torched by the front 7's play. Single stats good or bad mean absoluetly nothing if the D can't become a unit, they might as well all be watching on the bench. I totally blame this on the coaching staff from top to bottom, Johnson, Vitt and Allen have been together long enough to know how to accordiate the front 7 no matter who the DC is. Allen is suppose to be the secondary guru, well they stink also, for many years these 3 clowns have milked the Saints cashing check after check with little to no results, time to get people in here that can earn a paycheck and not hold their hands out for free cheese like those 3. Ryan should go also not that I don't like him but a total rework of the D scheme needs to happen.

No doubt H65. Rob R has been pretty bad every where he has gone whose scheme is constantly complained about as too complex for players to succeed in. Take Byrd for example ... sure he seems like an overpaid FA who hasn't lived up to the salary but this guy was ELITE at the position before he got into Rob's system (even before the injury, appeared lost in NO). I simply can't believe Byrd forgot how to play safety.

Side note: Mr. Vitt is more of a figure head these days. We got two other new guys coaching the LB's.
