Re: Is the Season Over?
Jean Pierre, Danno, Hagan..they all said it and were completely right. We don't have a effing clue what type of D we want to run. We always had 4-3, then they wanted to change to 3-4. So we get players for 3-4 and we run 4-3. Makes no Damm sense. We put players in positions that are not there strong area and then winder why they struggle. It's the coaching staff that has doomed this team.

Re: Is the Season Over?
To me, anything short of the playoffs is the end of the season. Once that's out of the question, we're playing out the string.
I think (and said this earlier in the week) that with the NFC like it is we needed to win out (7 in a row starting today) or else we'd be sitting in week 17 hoping people lost to let us back in to the playoffs. So yes, when we lost today, it just became practically impossible to make the playoffs (and we're not winning more than 6 games with this pathetic arse excuse for a defense) and thus SEASON OVER (we're in the death throes now...) |

St.Louis(against Chicago) Seattle And we are only half a game behind them. Minnesota won in Oakland but I had them at 9-7 and considering if we beat Atlanta twice, NYG, and Detroit we have 4 out of 5 common games won and they could lose to Arizona and if they lose at Atlanta and end up 10-6 we have the edge over them. If they beat Atlanta but still go 10-6 we still beat them in the strength of victory. As of now if we win out I feel we will get in. I definitely believe we beat Houston. Blue needs 30 carries to have a 100 yard rushing game. They can't stop the run for anything. Then there is Carolina and if we win that, there's going to be renewed optimism. |

Re: Is the Season Over?
Everybody keeps saying it was a loss today, seriously this was a total breakdown against a marginal team.
