We could actually get in on 9-7, but there's a catch.
Arizona last game of season. I don't think Arizona loses again remaining unless they have everything locked up. If Carolina is undefeated going into week 17, they will have no need to play to win. They will rest their starters. And make no mistake, if Carolina loses one more game before that week Goodell will see to it their game against TB is flexed to the late afternoon.
So what needs to happen is this. Minnesota has to lose to Atlanta, Seattle, Arizona, and Green Bay. Three of them are highly possible. Seattle is actually a toss-up. So that would mean we need to beat Carolina, and Atlanta or NYG have to beat them also. Can that happen? And if Atlanta beats them they better lose to TB or that also screws us going into the last game. Week 13 the 1:00 games should feature Seattle@Minnesota, so that outcome will be determined before we play Carolina. I hope we beat them, we have to. But it's going to be hard so Seattle winning in Minnesota is our only hope. Or maybe Chicago or the giants can pull out an upset against them. |
