What are your real expectations IF we fire everyone
 

Well guys and gals, I do understand the frustration with this team right now. As a matter of fact, I do think changes need to be made. My question is if we fire everyone, what kind of team do you think we will realistically field next year.

I have read threads to get rid of players A. B. & C. fire Loomis, fire Payton, fire all assistants. That's fine and all but I think it would take years to recover from these moves. Considering our cap situation, it would be tough to get real veteran FA in here to make a difference coupled with how young the team will be.

I don't have my blinders on, I know changes need to be made. I guess my point is it will take years for this team to become competitive again so we will have to be patient. Patience is not what people want nor have these days anymore and I get it.

Listen, this is just my opinion but I don't see us being a competitor for a few years until we get some really solid drafts & good team management.

I know it has to start somewhere and the team cannot just sit back and accept mediocrity. All I do know is if we blow this team up we will have some long ass seasons ahead of us. WHODAT FOREVER!!!

This is the biggest two problems we have. For some reason, we DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRAFT "GOOD" PLAYERS. I feel they are too concerned in finding diamonds in the rough. Colstons and PT's aren't in every draft. We pass up on too many good players.

If everyone leaves I expect to flounder in mediocrity for a few more decades. Either that or we'll flat out suck again like before Payton came here.

We're not a competitive team now and we're only trending downward. Payton's not gonna wake up tomorrow and rediscover the old passion that made him one heck of a feared play caller. Something is wrong with him... I don't know what, but he's a different man.

I don't know what to expect when we go full rebuild. We've been losing for two years now so if we had a new coaching staff at least it would be understandable.

I haven't really seen much done through drafts lately. And i think FA hasn't been too great either. We need better scouting and team management. None of this will happen anytime soon. Brees will be gone before any of that and I don't have high hopes on our rookie QB....yet.
And our salary cap will continue to haunt us probably into the next 2 seasons. Although I love the picks with Anthony and kikaha.
But we're doomed for sure for years to come.

depends on who takes over...damn shame Harbaugh wasn't leaving the 49ers this year and we could grab him. Imagine him with Drew, he went to the SB with kapernick.

So why can't we be able to play better on a fresh start like Indy has? Are we that unattractive for good GM and coaches to come to?

I don't care if we suck, I will spend the diwntime cheering on brees and his new team.
