This is what bothers me. Who on our team has shown to catch a pass consistently? I will say this I am not seeing runs after the catch no one is extending yardage. A Megatron will do that. This season has got my head messed up.
I pray that I finally have a life because this will be the offseason where I will be in "I will believe it when I see it" mode. I can no longer be about football during the offseason. I will always be a fan but my spirit is broken. |

I agree with you but as he gets older he is going to become less acurate and is going to need a receiver who can get the tough balls no matter how much protection he has. I think you need veterans for the offensive line. It takes a few years to develop a rookie lineman and that is something Drew doesnt have.

FYI-Brees looked better in the second half because they weren't running the ball, more oortunities for catches. To say we could not do that in the first half is not right. You can blame run blocking, but Ingram's run well on second down. Now that he's done, we'll see what Drew does with no Ingram to run the ball on first down. |
