Buffalo tried that and he battled injuries; everyone wants to give him the ball but when screens are not working; what do you do? |

Re: Give it to Mark Ingram for becoming irreplaceable for New Orleans Saints
I understand that. My problem is the Saints knew this before they signed him. They signed him as a specialist. My question is why aren't they using him for what they signed him for. It's a waste of money. Hell Murphy could do the job for Spiller if this was the vision they had for him and we could of used that money on defense. And if we are talking about health Hightower has a long injury history in this league. Bad free agent signings and bad drafting, not this rookie class though, has put us in this position.

His poor performance and attitude could be attributed to Payton. If you'll remember it was Payton who said "I'm probably the reason Ingram won't be rookie of the year."

Give Marcus Murphy a chance at running back, especially on third downs!!

Re: Give it to Mark Ingram for becoming irreplaceable for New Orleans Saints
I'm debating my 3rd RB on my fantasy team.
Who will get me more points today? CJ Spiller, who may see some action, or Mark Ingram who isn't playing. |

All I know is that Tim Hightower got the yards and the first downs when we really needed them. He ran hard.

Awesome interview with Hightower. I like what he says about the team.
