1/11 (pre senior bowl)

going by CBSsports rankings:

Shaq Lawson DE Clemson
Vernon Hargreaves III CB Florida
Robert Nkemdiche DT/DE Ole Miss would all be there at pick 12. I'd even throw in Myles Jack LB UCLA due to his injury, he might still be on the board. Now if somehow all four are off the board, then I'd rather they draft another top offensive lineman as long as it isn't a reach

Shaq Lawson DE Clemson is a player i could see if we are a 43 defense. The other two i am not crazy about and never really have been.

Hartgreaves fits the CB we have. bad tacklers and that go for TO first. We need CB that can come up in run support and tackle.

Robert Nkemdiche I can not figure out. production is just not there, like DeForest Buckne I pause and get tenative. I would go for a player later in the draft that has the same kind of production issues IE Chris Jones

Not saying that the FO is looking specifically at Robert but maybe the Saints need to take some risks on these young knuckleheads with tremendous upside ?

Edit: After watching that fool Burfict vs the Steelers ...pass on those selfish players with talent.

Agree totaly on that. He is a hysical freak but doesn't seem to get it done. His latest off-field issues on top of that would make me Think twice.

He also has some off the field issues which the Saints won't play around with.

I'm taking Lawson off my board, he playerd hurt, but showed a lack of discipline in a number of ways in last night's Championship game...

Hargreaves had some of his worst games against NFL competition, but I already had him off my list...

Nkemdiche I've never liked and his recent run-in with the law, and lying about it, removed any doubt that he should be our enemies headache...

Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............

who impressed me in the championship game

O.J. Howard? why has Saban not used this kid. I knew he had skills but nothing to the point I saw last night

Eric Mac Lain, OG, Clemson - he held his own against the vaunted bama DT. Not perfect but I was impressed

Kevin Dodd? will he come out? Talk about a solid mid round pick.

Jonathan Allen, showed great football IQ

Jarran Reed and A'Shawn Robinson while not a stat giant I like the gap integrity he showed

Reggie Ragland could be the thumper in the middle the saints need

"We may have lost the game, but you'll be hurting tomorrow." Doug Atkins
