Chris Jones is an perplexing prospect.
On one hand you see the talent and understand the junior college bit about needing time.
On the other hand why did he exploded onto the seen at the end of the year?

To me this one all boils down to interviews IMO

Sheldon Day is pretty much the same story. Why did he disappear for such long stretches in the season?

Hargrave a good player on a bad team but can he eat up double teams on a regular bases at the NFL level? Well worth a long look at.

As deep as this draft is DT, it just doesn't warrant taking a DT that early unless it's a rare talent that will complement our existing roster with examples being Bama's Jarran Reed or LaTech's Vernon Butler...

And I'd actually rather we sign a proven commodity (i.e. Damon Harrison, Malik Jackson) in free agency rather leave it to chance in the draft...

And there are positions which have less depth (Safety, Weakside LBer, Wide Receiver) that would have more impact with the earlier picks...

build through the draft is the best way to attack this cap and dead money issue. we need more picks imo

This is why I would trade Jordan, Vaccarro and Bush to get those much needed picks, although I would try Bush at SS first to see if he could make his case to stay. Funny thing is Payton might give Allen some gifts since he's one of the good ole' boys in the likes of Reed and Butler in the 1st and 2nd round. To be honest it wouldn't be a bad move to get those 2, it would make Jenkins expendable.

I like this kid, he understand the importance of hang time and coverage. But more than anything I like the fact he is old school and is one of the best coffin corner kickers I have seen in years. He is unreal when kicking 50 to 60 yards out. Inside the twenty is always talked about when you start talking good kickers. This kid? You measure his day with kicks inside the ten as a kicker. Hits the coffin corner old school style. he aims for it

best directional punter to come out of college in years IMO

why is he over looked? got me

Or about as stupid as me wanting Graham traded? Jordans containment stinks setting up screens all day long, he's not as well rounded as many people think. Over playing plays are just as bad as not getting to the qb. which he does alot more times than he gets sacks. He's not worth the contract he recieved at all.

But he hot it and would have got it on the open market. So trading him and eating the money makes no sense as things stand. It your talking another year or so then yes i get it,but not ehen the dead moneybsits as is
