Saying the same thing earlier - We have Kikaha, Tull and Edebali...give them a chance this season to contribute and then if it's not there, go out and get some new faces on the edge...

Getting a new "X" receiver to replace Colston, shoring up the offensive and defensive line(s), getting another DB for safety or another CB to allow Swann to shift to FS/SS should be the priorities...

I'd even trade Keenan Lewis should a CB like P.J. or a draft pick (e.g. Kalan Reed) ably complement Del Breaux; get that cap back under control and fiscally manage it better...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Corey Coleman or Josh Dotson would be better choices for me at WR.

If it was not for that broken wrist I would grab him also. But the more I watch the kid the more I like him and the more upside I see. I love the way he works the middle of the field.

No way does he fall out of the top 15 IMO. It also would floor me to hear his name before we even pick. Talent is there but this is a great draft for him. this is the slower than molasses draft at WR.

I hadn't watched any tape on him, since WR really didn't seem like such a big need to me, but decided to give his film a shot and...

He does seem like a really good possession receiver and eerily similar to what the Saints had in Colston. He does seem to move surprisingly well for his frame, and the straight-line speed doesn't really deter me, since Colston was never a burner himself.

So, I wouldn't be upset if the Saints were to pick him at 12 if he happened to still be available.

Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............

I remember reading an article by the Advocate (can't find it at the moment) on Sean P stating how he wants to take the top off the opposing defense (ala Meachem & Devery days).

I just don't see how Treadwell fills that void and is part of our plans on draft day.

Cooks fills the void you're referring...

When the field gets short, the big defensive backs will smother Cooks, Smead; and that's where you come back with Treadwell...

And Laquon is going to win those battles out of the gate as a rookie...
