I've read a few messages from people calling for Alex Smith with the 16th pick. I'm from Utah and have watched every game of thiers in the last two years. Smith is the real deal. After his workouts showcase his arm, he will be the first pick in the draft. He reminds me of Tom Brady, but with more mobility. I think the Saints will take Heath Miller if they stay at 16. I would love to move up and get Derrick Johnson, but I don't see it happening. I think Webster is a reach at 16, but a huge possibility if we move down a few picks. In the second I like Poole the safety from Oklahoma, or maybe QB Andrew Walter of Arizona State. Free agency- Ian Gold LB-Tampa, Rob Morris-LB-Indy Well there is my 2 cents |

I like everything you have to say... although, I think we need a LT in FA - then move Gandy to the right where he will be decent despite his quickly diminishing skills.

Gold will be too expensive.
My surprise pick for the first round would be Mike Williams. He probably won\'t drop though. It\'s looking that Webster MIGHT be there in the second round. If not one of the top 7 DBs with first round talent will drop and be available for our 2nd round pick. I like Heath also, but I rather have an impact defensive player first. Oh by the way, welcome. :P [Edited on 23/2/2005 by papz] |

Gold is a far better value than Kendrell Bell. Is there a left tackle out there worth going after? Walter Jones reupped with Seattle, Orlando Pace is tagged by the Rams. Maybe make a move for Alex Barron? I hear he will be top 10 by draft day though
