Agreed. Granted he at least showed some class going out...

That bullshinski of wanting to go back to the S'hawks wasn't appreciated...

And the way he lost composure late in the season was not...Saintly...

Well, guessing we may have good news coming soon with Westbank's recovery...

Look I hate to see the Saints cut bait and have dead money out there, but I'd rather see that then see a player hang around because he has a contract he's not worth. It's basically the front office swallowing their pride and admitting that they made a mistake.

And it sends a message to other players. Play hard or play somewhere else.

Shocked by the move, but glad it took place.

Got to say I am impressed with how well Browner has handled it.

Not that big of a deal seeing it would free up 1 million. We have 4 on the roster now that can outplay him. That million gives us a couple of late rd rookies that will play a role in rotations or ST. He did nothing for us.

Re: Saints apparently parting ways with veteran CB Brandon Browner

If the Saints cut Browner, it will cost the team $6.3 million against the salary cap. Browner is due $5 million in salary and bonuses, in addition to $2.75 million guaranteed. If the team waits until March 9 when the new league year begins, they will save $950,000 in cap space and $2.25 million in cash.

Classy exit. We all get frustrated. Just wasn't the right guy for the particular job, and that's as much our fault as it is his. Best of luck to him.
