May be going out w class, but this is the same guy that came on board saying he couldnt wait til his contract was over so he could olay with the patriots. Good luck with that plan.

Agreed. Granted he at least showed some class going out...

That bullshinski of wanting to go back to the S'hawks wasn't appreciated...

And the way he lost composure late in the season was not...Saintly...

Well, guessing we may have good news coming soon with Westbank's recovery...

And don't forget the locker room meltdown with the media. The guy wasn't worth keeping around, regardless of cap hit or dead money.

Look I hate to see the Saints cut bait and have dead money out there, but I'd rather see that then see a player hang around because he has a contract he's not worth. It's basically the front office swallowing their pride and admitting that they made a mistake.

And it sends a message to other players. Play hard or play somewhere else.
