Offensive Needs For Draft

Note: Sean Payton's New Orleans Saints roll with Offense.

Note: There's no way Payton goes into the season with this very thin WR corps...

Note: The Fleener signing addresses team's ability to climb and convert 3rd downs and red zone opportunities, but it does not solve that inability...

Note: Saints can't move towards a power run game with at least one unanswered hole at guard and a coach that has Brees...

Note: While we have good depth with Hill and Hoomanawanui, we still don't have a big, physical all-around tight end; and Fleener is more of a wide receiver than TE...

Curious that we haven't extended Terron Armstead...

We extend Junior Galette prematurely, but we haven't done the same for Armstead...

Curious...

Curious...

We do normally wait until the last minute to do these things. Galette was a real head-scratching anomaly. I wouldn't expect an Armstead extension to get done until next February.

Armstead will be twenty-five when the season begins, entering his prime, rather than established in it...

He hasn't garnered any All-Pro recognition and was just a Pro-Bowl alternate...

I'd rather negotiate his deal now, before, all those accolades come down...

I'm with you 100%... But Loomis never does these things the easy way.

I'd like to get out ahead with signing Armstead, soon...

And are we going to lock up (extend) Max Unger?!?

Saints could finally escape salary-cap jail in 2017, even if they re-sign Drew Brees - New Orleans Saints Blog- ESPN

We still need a big. physical cornerback - kinda the reason for signing Browner; only, need a younger, faster, stronger, better cornerback...
