Wonder if he could switch and play the SAM backer? May be his only shot at making the Saints roster...

100% agreed. I was actually just thinking about how the Bills seem to be in pretty bad shape now at edge rusher with Shaq Lawson being out a while with a shoulder injury and his backup Enemkpali tearing his ACL. Rob Ryan has familiarity with Tull and and he would be a better fit in the Ryan brother's defense. Potential trade?

When you do the math, there're ten (10), maybe eleven (11) defensive back roster spots on the roster...

Now these are the contenders at the moment:

LCB (3) 40 - Delvin Breaux, 27 - Damian Swann, 49 - De’Vante Harris, 37 - Brandon Dixon

Swann is at practice today however not practicing. Good player, does a lot well but I don't think you can count on him throughout the season.

Side note:I really hope we decide to draft a kicker next season.

There were proven kickers in free agency this year that the FO didn't want to commit the money and I don't see any Morten Andersen's among the college ranks at this time...

What I don't get is the salary commitment to a punter and not a placekicker...

SS (2) 32 - Kenny Vaccaro, 41 - Roman Harper, 26 - Trae Elston

FS (3) 31 - Jairus Byrd, 48 - Vonn Bell, 30 - Erik Harris, 42 - Jamal Golden

RCB (2) 25 - P.J. Williams, 39 - Cortland Finnegan, 46 - Ken Crawley, 20 - Brian Dixon, 43 - Jimmy Pruitt, 21 - Keenan Lewis

Following camp reports and what we saw @ New England, 37 - Brandon Dixon, 26 - Trae Elston, 42 - Jamal Golden, 20 - Brian Dixon and 43 - Jimmy Pruitt are likely cuts or on the bubble...

More details :bng:

Seems like a PK would be a little more important with the extra point being moved back and FG vs punt duty.

You know JeanPierre, I haven't ever thanked you for running and constantly updating this thread. I don't have the time to gather all of that info and it's just great to be able to come in here and keep up with the team. Thanks man!

That's because we can't seem to figure out how to actually pick a really great PK.

You know the kicker the Bucs traded up to draft in the 2nd round? He missed a PAT attempt in their first preseason game lol.
