Re: 2016 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Just watched a couple of the re-broadcast of the local sports last night; all the local fleas are saying the coaches are intimating how much they like Gwachum...

I haven't seen the guy do anything in a game yet, much less do something that makes me geaux "Wow!"

Have seen what I thought I'd see and that is Obum getting engulfed at the point of attack while trying to hold the edge in a run play...

Re: 2016 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Observations:

Only two QBs should be retained at this point - Drew Brees and Luke McCown...

Tommylee Lewis and Jordan Williams should be the fourth and fifth wide receivers...

Some guys play in games much better than practice; don't know why Joe Cheek isn't getting into games sooner because he sure flashes...

It's a damn shame Fullington doesn't have more size, he could be awesome with more length and weight...

Tony Hills and Tyrus Thompson are about two of the saddest sacks; only Tim Lelito has to be more disappointing...

Now we know why Jack Allen looked so good; Marcus Henry played with alot of heart, but that was a brutal performance...

Don't drink the cool-aid, Terron Armstead is more broke than Payton is letting on; expect a fine for his reluctant injury disclosures this season...

I'd expect to see the following line a few times this season - Peat - Turner - Unger - Kelemete - Strief; ask Drew at the end of the season how many years he's got let in him then...

With Hooman out, we could have two TEs and two FBs on the roster...

Darryl Tapp wants a job; so does John Jenkins; where was the sense of urgency earlier?

Davis Tull is playing like he just learned about the game of football; Onyemata looked like he's been playing since he was a kid compared to the beginning of training camp...

Ashaad Mabry is a tough out; that would be my toughest cut if I'm Coach Payton; until Jenkins showed up tonight, Mabry outplayed him...

Paul Kruger will start at WDE with Edebali on ready-standby; Gwachum looked lost and Tull looked like a spectator; I'd wait on giving away a 7R pick on McCain - why give up a 7R pick on a limited player?

He must have alot of fans upstairs and in the front office, but Dillon Lee has outpracticed, outplayed Mike Mauti and Mauti is squeezing all is juice from one fortunate play last season...

Finnegan should get a roster spot; Dixon's kicking game coverage may not be enough to secure a job...

I'd like to have seen Vonn Bell and Erik Harris alternate and run with the ones; f*ck, d*mn, sh*t do I hate, regret us signing Byrd...

Barth wins the kicking challenge which means he'll be gone after his first miss by Week 3...

Why didn't the long snapper come out in support of Delta House protesting Kaepernik's disrespect of the national anthem? He should be like Griffin and have to play another position...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Actually, am realistic, in that, Preseason is Preseason and the first four games will be the real tell...

Are there some challenges, with regards to the offensive line - sure.

But we have a very good starting defense with some decent rotational depth at all positions...

We may very well have the best 3 WR set now in the NFL...

The obvious concerns are the offensive guards where I've been really disappointed in Lelito who I still have high hopes and I'd add Tight End to real concerns...

The defense has been so bad for seemingly so long, that mediocre would be embraced; but this defense by season's end will be more than mediocre - they can be special and I believe that.

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
