What will be considered a success?
Most Saints' fans have high hopes for free-agency this year. I definately think we need to make a big splash in free-agency this year.
But, what's it going to take to make fan's happy? How many players do the Saints have to sign and whom? Ed Hartwell from the Baltimore Ravens or Kendrell Bell from the Pittsburgh Steelers. If we get either one of those guys I would be satisfied. How 'bout the rest of you? |

I\'ll be happy if they get two players:
(1) A big name OT. I like Diem (I don\'t know if he\'s still available) or Womack. (2) A big name LB. I like Hartwell, but I\'ve recently begun considering getting an OLB instead of a MLB. I\'ll get back to you after a bit more looking (or argument from B&Gers). After that, I\'m pretty happy. |

Definitely would like to see Kendrell Bell here, plus an Olineman. Then, make some smart picks in the draft, but please don\'t go Dline again with the first pick.

I fear we probably don\'t have the cash at our disposal to grab a bunch of FA\'s and sign our draft picks, too. But, gimme a healthy Kendrell Bell and maybe one of the better OT\'s available and I\'ll be satisfied (and frankly, surprised).
It was the QB 40-yard dash ... that\'s all I\'m saying ... |

I don\'t think I\'d be upset if they took a DT in the first round, depending on what they do in FA. I think we need a vetran LB and a stud OT; if we get those, BPA is just fine with me in the draft (unless it is a DE).

F.A. wish list:
1 OT 2 OLB If we can fill one of the positions with one of the big names, I would already call the free agent period a success. |
