Saints sign LB Nate Stupar

The New Orleans Saints have signed reserve linebacker Nate Stupar to a three-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Stupar, 28, has played the last two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft but was waived at the of training camp. He then had stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Falcons claimed him off waivers just before the start of the 2014 season. In two seasons, he played 31 games for the Falcons, starting three.
