Seriously? We've upgraded several spots, and the draft isn't here yet. Our LBs are much improved even if we draft any.

Loomis has crippled this franchise with a series of terrible FA signings, unwise extensions, and poor results in the draft. Leading the league in dead money is not a good thing. Let's hope we do better in the 2016 draft.
In slamming Loomis you are giving him FAR too much credit. Loomis' main job is to make the money work. You are terribly mistaken if you blame personnel moves on him.

Scobee isn't any better as he missed fgs himself. I can't envision Scobee having a turnaround just because he could be on a winning team. That's like throwing darts at a dartboard. When a kicker starts falling, that's it.

I'm still guessing he kicks better than 69% in the Dome,

Again, Scobee hit 86.7% on field goals and Forbath hit 69.2. About the only way that isn't a ton better is if you use the new common core math! lol It's amazing after all I posted you picked out the kickers? lol

So what about the road? If we win the division next year we are likely going to Seattle in the divisional round or Green Bay in the NFCCG. What if he can't kick a fg there?

And guess why he got cut by Pittsburgh? Will he do this against the panthers and falcons?

Steelers cut Josh Scobee | ProFootballTalk

He missed two FGs and one in OT against the steelers' biggest division rival in primetime after the team was knocked out of the playoffs by them the last meeting.

The Saints needed veteran talent and leadership at LB. They got it. The Saints needed a TE. They got a potential play maker. The Saints needed more athleticism at DT. They got it. The draft is now set up where they can take the BPA. And this draft is loaded with defensive talent. Unless they wiff in the draft, the Saints are a better team than they were last year.
