Exactly Danno. And the fact that he was only booked with 2nd degree murder adds to the mystery. Like I said the facts will come out. I wont get too angry or worked up until the rest of the story comes out. It is sad nontheless

In the state of Louisiana 2nd degree murder is commonly used in place of 1st. 2nd throws out the death penalty. When charged with 1st the scumbag get states lawyers. They get a whole team of them and questioning after being charged is impossible. I see it first hand. I have seen cop killers get charged with 2nd. Same law just with death taken out. I don't want my tax money housing this thug to be a boss in the penitentiary. How could he be innocent or justify shooting will in the back and his wife in the legs twice. A nice slow painful death will be to my satisfactory with my tax money

I agree completely but this is the way of the world. No longer an eye for an eye(which I agree with). This guy should be gutted on public square but the tree hugging Obama zombies will breast feed him in jail the next 30 years until released.

What a savage place this world can be. I pray for his family and friends, and for the the one who committed this horrific crime, that God would have mercy on his soul and save him from himself. His life on earth is forfeit now.

I can't imagine what goes through a person's mind to do something like this, and I'd rather not imagine it.

Read a post saying 20 murders in NOLA recently - mayor and governor need to grow a set between them and slow down crime there.
