One of my all time favorite Saints personality. A very big loss for the who dat nation .RIP . Will Smith gone too soon. Violence is killing the soul of our city . Be a part of the solution. Do something ,find one save one.

As if this week didn't start out bad. Rest in Peace Hokie. You were one of the Great Saints!!!! I'll miss listening to you on the radio.

Well I have a short (1 minute) video of Hokie scoring against the Oilers in 1984 that I was going to post but can't get to upload...

Wanted some of the younger folk here to see Hokie in action.


He always gave it 110% and his love of football and the Saints showed every time he was on the field or in the booth...

Him and Buddy on WWL. Really fond memories of that time. When we won, which was not often, Hokie really squeezed all the goodness out of it. Like story telling football barb about your heroes. A lot of fun. Just a good person and good player.

Hokie made me proud to be a Saints fan in a time when there wasn't a lot to be proud of.
