But the defense is trending upward with recent additions and the 2015 draft.

I have no problem taking an elite offensive prospect in this draft. Its all about A-players on both sides of the ball.

This is an extremely deep draft on defense so I have no problem waiting till round 2 to start addressing defense if all the "A-prospects" on defense are taken, and the A-minus prospects will still be there in the 2nd on.

We could walk away with 4 defensive studs in this draft as well as an A-plus prospect in Laquon Treadwell.

As long as we land a stud DT, a pass rusher and perhaps a WLB in the 1st 4 rounds, I'm quite happy with LT @ 12. I truly think he could be even more special than Colston was. He could be our Larry Fitzgerald for the next 8-10 years.

What if there are only B-players left on defense when we pick, but several A-players on offense?

B-prospects on defense won't really help. We're already stocked to the gills with defensive prospects from last years draft.

NEVER pass up an A-player for a B-player because of need.

Considering this draft is a lot stronger defensively than offensively, I don't think that's a problem...

That's not going to happen the first round of this draft, doubt it will until round 3 or 4, this draft if deep with defensive talent

The lines. Have to have lines that are no less than average. Brees can will us to about 7 W's, after that it's on the trenches to deliver the next 3-4 W's.

The advocate has already said WR is not at the top of the saints FO's draft plans.

I get it just don't see it being an issue until later in the draft

Re: NFL Draft Needs: Saints

Whatever they do I'll be happy. I think we have a very good starting Defense and definitely offense. Need some depth a DL, CB, guard and a replacement for Colston.
