The Press Gazette reports the Packers might be pursuing OG Jermaine Mayberry (Eagles) as a possible replacement for OG Marco Rivera or OG Mike Wahle. Mayberry made the Pro Bowl in 2002 and started at right guard for the Eagles last season. He is not expected to return to Philadelphia, and, according to his agent, Jack Bechta, Mayberry is being pursued by the Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints as well as the Packers. ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã…Â“There is interest there,ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬? Bechta said, referring to Green Bay.

actually they are looking to sign barney fife at wide reciever and the pyle brothers at cornerback..that is the mayberry they are talking about, gumbo....

By the time we sign a decent LB in FA, there will be a colony on Mars and football will be played amongst the asteroid belt with rocket packs. But then Benson will just claim Mars\' economy doesn\'t allow him to support a space football team while his motor yacht imperial destroyer cruises into warp speed to his bank vault on Jupiter to count his money. Yes I am still pissed. lol
