The Saints finally got around to meeting with a free agent on Thursday when they hosted offensive lineman Jermane Mayberry, according to The Advocate. The nine-year veteran started 96 games for the Eagles.

Views
Winning four consecutive games to end the season has convinced Saints' officials that they are on the right track. As such, they do not intend to be big players in free agency, which is a questionable move given the mediocre records the team has produced over the last few seasons.
