Exactly. A lot of people are quick to jump on the race train and call officers killers and racists. But no one ever wants to wait until everything is done and find out if the officers reacted the right way or not. Ferguson- the officer was cleared and the "hands up don't shoot" thing was a lie that never actually happened. The media and people everywhere wanted the officer charged with murder. After it was done he was cleared, the only attention it got was the people rioting.

Don't get me started on Baltimore. The DA could lose her license for withholding evidence and wrongful prosecution of the officers.

I'm not saying there aren't bad officers, but 99% of us are doing it the right way and get pissed when an officer makes the rest of us look bad. It hurts us all.

People just need to wait and the media needs to stop getting a rise out of everyone. This has gotten out of control.

And there aren't any of us that wake up and strap on our gear and "Gee I sure hope I get to shoot someone today."

I have to agree for the most part. Calling it "cold blooded killing" is both disingenouous and unhelpful. The most recent one that may be subject to debate is the shooting death of Walter Scott in South Carolina last year. But I don't even want to go there.

Ill start with the Baton Rouge shooting. The officers tazed, then went hands on, then tazed again, then went hands on again. He fought through all of these things. We watched multiple videos in briefing on a big screen and broke it all down. The right hand of the suspect was free and heading down towards his pants. Now, the gun he had was a revolver. I train Jiu Jitsu and can create space. Who is to say he could not do the same? If he gets his hand down to his pocket he does not have to reach in the pocket to pull the trigger. The guy had a CH as long as my leg. The officers were use to dealing with him and had taken guns off him in the past. We never want to shoot a suspect but I do want to go home. Therefore before he shoots me I must shoot first. I promise you the DOJ will see it as a good shooting.

You and I have weeks to break down what happened. Those officers had a split second to decide to take his life. Not something ANY officer wants to do.
