Re: Well Snead has to worry about his role
Colston missed games last year, Cooks missed 6,and Snead even missed one. It's a long season.
Seven guys caught 30 or more passes. Plenty of love to go around. |

Keep going back to the game at Pittsburgh when we annihilated the Steelers at Heinz field, and Jimmy Graham was out... All players should worry about their role - that's a healthy thing for NFL players so as to avoid complacency... But what you're gonna see is a time share at the "X" receiver between Thomas and Boldin with Boldin mentoring... However, anytime that so much hype gets out like this before a signing announcement, it usually doesn't happen... |

Re: Well Snead has to worry about his role
All I can say is why didn't they catch the balls enough last year. If a receiver is on the field for all of the snaps. Then he makes 7 out of 10 targets. If he's on the field for half, he makes 2 of 5.
Also, call me crazy Brees didn't really spread it around last year, at least not in the redzone, which is where we mostly stalled. Cooks, Watson, and Colston(yes, Colston) were the main redzone targets. That has to change. |
