this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm not against this signing, but I just wonder what that means for the young receivers who'll need all the snaps they can get in order to develop?!...

And you really need to have depth at that position, since even one semi-serious injury will change the line-up they have at the moment drastically.

Coleman is in for a fight to crack the 53 roster even if we don't sign Boldin. He doesn't offer anything other than being a WR. No special teams work, can't be a gunner or returner & probably won't be used as a blocker.
Unless Brandon ties it all together at training camp & can produce consistently & make a profound impact, there are always other options for that roster spot. |
