Re: Training Camp Day 10
Hopefully just a planned day off for Breaux. |
Re: Training Camp Day 10
I hate to say it, but Keenan may have had a setback. |
Re: Training Camp Day 10
Lewis is a soldier but his body is simply breaking down.
Young guys must step up this season. |

From reading these post from practice today it appears the 2016 defense will be much improved. Young guys stepping up, d line getting a push, having Brees rush his throws. Dennis Allen appears to have simplified the defense. Fairley looks like he is gonna be a force (intensity is nasty) & these young corners look like they are hungry (PJ, Crawley, Breaux). The confidence on defense is building ... |

Papa Bear bringing down the Thunder...

Re: Training Camp Day 10
Definitely in decline...[sic]
|
Re: Training Camp Day 10
Who'da thunk that our supposed top five defensive backs out and the defense could still challenge Brees and the offense?

He is a cerebral QB simply testing, seeing what works and what doesn't. Possibly measuring out the new WR's (Fleener, Thomas) to see what they are capable of when he lobs it up. No decline ;). |
Re: Training Camp Day 10
Nick Fairley really having a good camp for us - hoping for good things this season...

Now with just one defensive coordinator (one voice, one vision) and better, deeper front seven talent, we're looking like a defense that, at the least, must be respected... |
Re: Training Camp Day 10
I sure hope the reason the defense looks so good isn't because of that offensive line.

That would be our luck. We have crappy defenses but 10 straight years of top 5 offenses only for us to finally field a good defense while the offense plummets into mediocrity. Make no mistake, even if our defense is much better our offense will still have to play lights out for us to become a real contender for the playoffs. |
