As far as today's practice goes... It's just kind of a walk through without much action to report.

According to NOLA, it's raining cats and dogs up there today.

Hopefully it clears up by tomorrow (game time).

I don't get a good vibe from this...

He practiced once and has been out ever since.

Westbank has been fun to watch...

But for the team, franchise the Saints would be better cutting ties and moving on if health is in a degenerative state...

Better to have four-five-six defensive backs playing together consistently than reassigning roles on a week-to-week basis...

Said earlier this offseason that I wasn't confident in his ability to get back to the field, healthy...

Very soon, we'll learn what we've already deduced, expected...

I think we will be lucky if Lewis plays in 6 games this year.
It's unfortunate but I think his body is breaking down.

Wouldn't surprise me if another corner is brought in to camp @ some point.

Re: Joint Practice with Patriots

Just had a look at Lewis contract.

He has 3.6ml in dead money next year with a saving of over 5ml. If he cant stay fit i could see it being his ladt year simply as a cost cutting excersise

It would be a shame as i like him

We never seen to be able to keep 2 great corners together

Greer was a great player, when Keenan shows up Greer gets injured

We then had Lewis for years, as soon as Breaux shows up, Lewis gets injured....

Agreed. Although, I think we have a lot more talent this year behind the starters then previous years. I really like what is being written on our rookies and even PJ.

I think you are going to see alot of these debth players swapping around a good bit this year. Seems they are back to running a simple scheme but giving different looks by switching players in and out arbitrarily. I think all these guys will get their playing time.
