That's about the dumbest statement I have read in the history of this board. Like I said, TO healed after 3 weeks and played well. He's a big man and was past 30.

So sucky but not catastrophic.

No need to rush the big guy back. Let's not forget that he is a rookie. So it's critical for him to be fully healed and in regular season condition before throwing him back into the fray.

It's a shame he'll miss all the rest of the preseason, and the coinciding reps he needs in order to become NFL ready.

I agree with this. He needs the reps. I hate to see this but at least he can get back hopefully by mid season.

Can we just stop practicing and playing preseason, it always defenders that get hurt for us.

Jairus Byrd, Keenan Lewis, Hau'Oli Kikaha, Victor Butler, Stephone Anthony and now Sheldon Rankins.

This is part of why I was against this pick. I don't trust a Louiseville player. Look at Kevin White having problems so far adapting. Those Big East schools(even if no longer) don't churn out top talent or longevity.

I hope we are not thinking we can afford to lose 2 or 3 games before he returns and then he'll help us win most of the rest. It does not work that way.

Yea that's like week 3. We should be find. If our defense is made or broken because we lose 1 player then we were in trouble anyway.
