Saints Owe Their Fans An Explanation for Questionable Moves

Re: Saints Owe Their Fans An Explanation for Questionable Moves
Listen to this tripe;
"In my opinion from what I viewed on Thursday’s Saints-Texans’ joint practice, the cornerback play was “shaky at best” against DeAndre Hopkins and his fellow Texans wide receivers" So keeping a guy who has had 2 knee injuries, a hip injury and a recent injury setback is totally going to change that? No it's not. It's just like the Jimmy Graham trade all over again, people still to this day say it was an awful trade yet Brees' production didn't slip in the slightest. All this "Keenan wasn't one of Dennis Allens crew" in my opinion is BS I Think the real story is Keenan thought he was untouchable, wouldn't buy into a scheme because the DC isn't trying to be his best friend like RR was and we have drafted and signed young CB's. He was threatened because he couldn't fight for his spot, so chose to place blame elsewhere. |
Re: Saints Owe Their Fans An Explanation for Questionable Moves
Everytime people ***** about the Saints trading or cutting someone the Saints prove them wrong. Got rid of Jamal Brown and he was injured the next year and out of football. Jimmy Graham trade looks like they did the right thing. Galette was a cancer that had to be dealt with. Look at him now. The Saints know how to make tough decisions and do it no matter how unpopular it may be. I applaud them for that.
I really don't understand Grubbs and Evans the same year though. |

This is not a publicly-traded company and we are not shareholders. Loomis / SP don't answer to us. If they do a sh** job, they'll be fired.
I was a big Lewis fan, but I am a bigger Saints fan. Not sure why this hack nobody needs an explanation, but I do not. |
Re: Saints Owe Their Fans An Explanation for Questionable Moves
I still don't understand letting Keenan go. I understand Breaux has a full season under his belt but other than Fennigan, none of the other CB's have played a full season. Swann has had multiple concussions, PJ as good as he has shown has yet to play a single down in an NFL Game, ditto with Crawley and Harris. I'm more than likely to believe Keenan for the simple fact that when he was a Free Agent he took less money to come home than he could have gotten by staying in Pittsburgh or going elsewhere. This doesn't look good. Hopefully it all works out.

You know what I think needs explaining is why posters on this site one year will say oh player x is great he is a beast, he's a player that will Carry this team etc but as soon as he is no longer a saint it's oh he sucks awful player and the scum of the earth. I've seen it happen time and time again here.I don't understand alot of posters here when it comes to players but those same people act as if management does no wrong or ever screws up. IMHO we have a ton of hypocritical fans

1. On the active 53 2. IR and return later in the season. Option 2 likely went out the window when Rankins broke his leg. Option #1 is tough going when DBs such as Crawley and Harris have the ability to both play on the defense and play special teams. Honestly, I believe the Saints did Lewis a favor. Instead of spending another whole year on IR, Lewis can get healthy, then make a workable deal to play the remainder of this season. SFIAH |
