For the record, I think the team has been soft over the last few years, too. But I'm not going to reverse course because some guy posts a picture of tampons, in a show of incredible originality.

Guys cmon now! Everyone is either in full out panic mode or completely blissfully hopeful (which is where I prefer to stay). All I'm saying is this: Let's just wait until week 3 or 4 to seriously make a conclusion about this team.

Maybe the Saints will suck big, fat donkey nuts. Or maybe the lines solidify in the coming weeks and they put a good team out there.

All I'm saying is that I prefer to wait and see what the team can do in the regular season before passing my judgement.

But I'd like to say, that even tho I don't agree with some of you, at least not yet, I still respect your opinions and look forward to seeing you all in the game day chat.

I still believe there's a chance. And I believe in Coach P, DA and this team.

Yay for optimism!

We haven't recruited a nasty lineman like Carl Nicks since Payton came on board. I think we need a pancake flattening, defensive line pummeling, in your face nasty offensive lineman. I'm hoping that Fairley is going to bring that edge to the defensive line.
