So you are proclaiming that the offense will routinely not score on any of the first three possessions of games this season. Are you willing to place a wager on that or are you going to weasel out? I'm saying you are full of crap and have no idea what you are talking about.

The wager? If the Saints offense fails to score once in the first three possessions in week one I will not post in this forum until after the following game ... unless they fail to score once in the first three possessions week two, then no posting until after week three ... etc.

Conversely, if the Saints' offense scores in one of the first three possessions in week one you agree to not post in the forum until after week two's game, unless the Saints score in one of their first three offensive possessions ... etc.

Sounds fair to me and it would eliminate those negative threads you are constantly posting.

Or are you chicken**** because you know you are full of crap and have no idea what you are talking about?

Well?

Hello! WillSaints81! Yoohoo! Are you afraid or are you admitting that you are full of crap and have no idea what you are talking about? Your silence speaks volumes.

I would agree with Nicks and Evans; Grubbs was an overpaid, underwhelming player who'd I definitely characterize as soft...

Sproles' last season, Saints hosting the Dolphins, Grubbs got thrown around like a toy in that game...

It was an eye-opening game for me because it showed how important "the Sproles Safety Valve" was to Drew Brees and the offense and masked deficiencies in our offensive line even then...

He was still a upgrade on what we have now. Not a patch on Nicks though

Grubbs? No way; you had younger, better offensive around him...

There was a reason why the Ravens let him walk; they knew he was leaning on those around him, not pulling his weight...

Im saying he was better than Lelito and Kelemete thats all. The Ravens let him go as they pay nobody. They are one of the teams that benefit from the ridiculous comp picks

You get a comp pick so can let a player walk in FA so as he walks you get another comp pick to let another walk. Rinse and repeat. Its great if you habe the scouts and GM to pick the rigjt players

Respectfully, I say he wasn't; he was the beneficiary of better players around him, younger Strief, younger Evans, Sproles coming outta the backfield, younger Brees...

And we've moved even further to a zone scheme than before requiring a little more of the guards...

Grubbs was no better than Lelito nor Kelemete are now...

Now do we need better? Of course we do.

Has the FO missed opportunities to make the Oline better? You betcha.

But the guaranteed overpay of Grubbs at Left Guard was the FO kidding themselves that they'd solved the LG position when it fact it was a case of putting alot of money about a turd, but at the end of the day we still had a turd at Left Guard.
