For the record, I think the team has been soft over the last few years, too. But I'm not going to reverse course because some guy posts a picture of tampons, in a show of incredible originality.

My comment was more toward the bombardment of negativity all throughout the main page more so than just this thread.

It just looked like a good opportunity to expose the chicken little fans that for some reason think we're superior to Falcon fans, when we certainly are not.

I asked a legitimate question because if our oline affects Drew's performance, we are not even winning 7 games. Yep it's obvious the defense will have to bail Drew out until he can dial up a drive four possessions in. Is that what we really want?

So you are proclaiming that the offense will routinely not score on any of the first three possessions of games this season. Are you willing to place a wager on that or are you going to weasel out? I'm saying you are full of crap and have no idea what you are talking about.

The wager? If the Saints offense fails to score once in the first three possessions in week one I will not post in this forum until after the following game ... unless they fail to score once in the first three possessions week two, then no posting until after week three ... etc.

Conversely, if the Saints' offense scores in one of the first three possessions in week one you agree to not post in the forum until after week two's game, unless the Saints score in one of their first three offensive possessions ... etc.

Sounds fair to me and it would eliminate those negative threads you are constantly posting.

I'll agree that the "who do we want to win the south" thread was pretty outrageous. But I think those types of things are what you would see no matter where you go in the world. It's not something that any large number of Saints fans do, that I see.

Some people want to be positive, some want to be realistic (which doesn't mean that they are necessarily right, but they are just trying to look at what they see objectively) and there are those who want to be negative, and will complain even when the team is winning. Also there are always a few delusional people. But it seems to me, that our fan base is more positive or objective than most fan bases.

It's hard to see that on a message board. But the amount of support this team has gotten even through all the bad years, tells me more about how much our fans give a crap than what I read. I can't remember a time when the Super Dome was empty because the team sucked.
