this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We haven't recruited a nasty lineman like Carl Nicks since Payton came on board. I think we need a pancake flattening, defensive line pummeling, in your face nasty offensive lineman. I'm hoping that Fairley is going to bring that edge ...

We haven't recruited a nasty lineman like Carl Nicks since Payton came on board. I think we need a pancake flattening, defensive line pummeling, in your face nasty offensive lineman. I'm hoping that Fairley is going to bring that edge to the defensive line.

Sproles' last season, Saints hosting the Dolphins, Grubbs got thrown around like a toy in that game... It was an eye-opening game for me because it showed how important "the Sproles Safety Valve" was to Drew Brees and the offense and masked deficiencies in our offensive line even then... |
