Triple or quadruple in tackles (I can't remember off hand the number of tackles McCain has, but it's low). I'm not saying Kruger would come in and be an all-pro. I'm saying he's better than a bunch of guys who have barely played yet, and some who haven't even been playing the game, at any level, for very long. You got to have someone around to take the pressure off the unproven, and it's not like we're going to go get a superstar right before the season starts.

As for Cleveland and evaluating players ....they hadn't had much to write home about over the last 40 years so take the Kruger release with a grain of salt. |

Re: Kruger set to visit Saints
The Browns are ckeanung house they swapped punters with Carolina so they could get a 4th round pick added
Also i wouldn't trust their evaluations on players. Lance Moore and Willie Snead were cut by the Browns |

Re: Kruger set to visit Saints
And Im not insinuating that we would be able to get a superstar, Im simply saying I feel the move is waste because his production we already have 2.5 SACKS & 30 tackles come on! If hes coming off the bench cool but not as a starter

Re: Kruger set to visit Saints
The mans a fighter
Kruger went through two serious childhood accidents.[8] He lost a kidney and his spleen and almost died in his Uncle's jeep accident at age 13.[9] In college at Salt Lake City, Utah, (January 29, 2008) a street stabbing left him with a collapsed lung and a 6.5 inch scar on his chest. A screwdriver was driven through the back of a Ute teammate and brass knuckles were used to break the nose and shatter the cheekbone of his younger brother. The fight left Kruger with "life-threatening injuries" that required nearly 50 staples to close the incisions made during a four-hour surgery |
"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

It is your opinion that going from 11 sacks to 5-7 sacks is a down year. I'm giving my opinion. A down year is a down year. It's one year removed, either way, and I just don't believe that he suddenly lost it. He might not come here and get double digits, but if he can be somewhere around 8, that's a heck of a lot better then you're likely to get from anyone else not named Cam Jordan. Edebali and Gwacham have shown their flashes, but they are too raw to be relied on still. |
