The fact that he is getting starter money is good. Shows that we are committed and that he can play.

Yes! That's exactly what I've been screaming for years. Just get pressures. Everyone is always so caught up in sack numbers. Sacks are important, they change field position, but as long as you are disrupting the QB and getting off the field, that's the main thing.

Will Smith, rest his soul, but he was one of those guys who might give you double digit sacks but he wasn't consistently in the backfield. I'll gladly take less sacks if it means more pressure. I'd like to have the best of both worlds, but we have to take what we can get.

I think if you are able to get sacks then hurrying comes with the territory .

Solid play is all I could ask for. Containment on the end and pressure. Sacks will come with collapsing the pocket.

No difference in a pressure and a hurry, it just gives the stat pedants something to plug into a spreadsheet.

I vote Nightmare On Poydras Street to be a crowd sign someone makes for a prime time game this year. Good job Chris

Just contribute to wins. If the Saints win and he is a contributing factor (sacks, pressures, stops, and/or leadership) then it will be considered a fantastic signing.
