Re: Cuts, Part Deaux
I like TommyLee but he needs to try to catch with his hands, he let a very big play slip right through.
And at least Mauti doesn't look like a zombie out there, he plays with passion. |

Re: Cuts, Part Deaux
It would be interesting to see Tommy Lee Lewis on Kick Returns if he does make the team
Believe he had 4 TD's from kick returns alone in college. |

Re: Cuts, Part Deaux
Can't understand why anyone wants to keep Murphy. The dude is trash. We have 5 players on our team now that are just as good if not better returning the ball. Lasco is a ace on ST and ran with passion. I would keep Grayson and try and trade McCown to the Vikes. Is Grayson ready? Not a chance but with suck with Brees so we won't win a game with Grayson or MCCown. If we could get a rd 5 for a 90 yr old backup qb I say it's a win.

Re: Cuts, Part Deaux
I dunno -- you say we won't win a game with McCown, but McCown came within one underthrown ball of beating Carolina in Carolina last year, a team that eventually went on to 15-1. He threw for 300+ yards against the #6 ranked defense. Yeah he's no Drew Brees, but McCown is actually probably a much better shot to actually win a game if he's running with the 1's, than Grayson is out there.

Re: Cuts, Part Deaux
Murphy is versatile. He's no Sproles but those type of players are hard to find. Not really great at anything but decent at a few positions and maybe great now and then.
