Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
I so far have looked at two ILBs and it appears that Foster is the clear top tier option. I saw a lot of flaws with McMillan(think his ranking is due to OSU and being on a defense with other good players). I will only look at one more and that will be Jarrad Davis.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
I'm curious to hear your take on Jarrad Davis. I haven't looked at him too closely myself but I'm hearing lots of buzz about him being underrated. If we had a shot at him in the 2nd round I wonder if it would be worth passing on Foster in the 1st for a CB or DE.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
I love Jarrad Davis' game. has some similarities to Foster, but the biggest knock on him is health. He was injured a lot at Florida, but i'd absolutely select him in the 2nd round if we go DL or CB in the 1st. reminds me a little of Kwon Alexander.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
We had a shot at Deion Jones and Kwon Alexander and passed on both, they both had excellent rookie seasons and one is a major reason his team are in the super bowl.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread
A CB in the 1st round? ... he better be Marcus Peters type talent and production coming out of college. I'd rather a pass rusher or LB (Beasley, Bosa, Leonard Williams, Shane Ray) at pick #11.
There is Cam, Rankins, Fairley, (UFA) and everyone else. This defense is in desperate need of play makers. |

good speed great intensity. great blitzer, sideline to sideline in the run game but struggles stack and shedding blocks resulting in over pursue and being a bit out of control at times. better suited in a 4-3. .He's powerful at the point of attack, projecting as a quality run-stuffing presence on the inside, but is also productive as a rusher and in coverage. He is a system limited and the way the sainst jump from 34 to 43 worries me. DE and DT upgrades are needed to keep him clean.
