Agree, thats a bargain and thats just Brees' starting point. It's likely to be bargained down some.

I'b be very happy with 4 years, 100 million.

The way we backload contracts he'll probably be playing for cheap this year and next year with a crazy cap number in years 3 and 4.

And there's nothing wrong with that. The cap is projected to be at $180 million in 2019. It is stupid to not backload contracts in today's world of ever increasing cap.

And just to clarify: QBs like Matt Ryan are in the 20 million a year range... Brees deserves every bit of 25 million a year
