Well he would even a this point be a better back up if its cheap than you are likely to find on the street. It would be different if you had a young G who looked on the brink of being a starter then he clogs up the roster. Also in helping bring the group along. Who is there now with a veteran head that say Turner can watch at what to do,who is there to teach him the little tricks to make him better.

If the cotract is cheap and weekly post week 1,i dont see the harm even if its just for a few weeks

You're not teaching anyone anything if you're not good at your job. So Turner is gonna watch Evans get pushed around, how is he learning anything?
