It's a good move. He wasnt the answer to our post-Brees future.

Great, but I want my money back for the Steelers game. Having to sit through that, in the stands was agony. Between Grayson's performance and the dim lighting in the terrace because of the new scoreboard, I kept falling asleep!

The Evans signing is a very good one. He has experience with the team and will be even more motivated to get his old spot back. Unger, Strief and Evans can anchor the line we'll be in for a lot of offense. I see the defense being a lot better than 45 touchdowns!

Oh goodie I was not crazy and a QB is needed still. With QBs in such high demand I will be surprised if he clears. If he does I would be alarmed.

I have a feeling Brees and Loomis will keep doing this same one year extension deal until Brees finally retires. Brees even jokingly said something about one year deals in his press conference. Here hoping that Brees can play at a high level until he is 45 like he said he plans to do.

It makes sense. Brees also added again that he plans to spend the rest of his playing career as a Saints so that means another contract is a must, at least.

Hope Evans can stay healthy and give us one more good year. Kind of scary that we're filling holes with players better teams don't want...but am glad Evans will probably end his career as a Saint. He has been a great one!
The Grayson release is yet another poor talent decision by the Saints. Too many draft picks wasted on players who don't make the team, too much dead money, too many consistently poor free agent decisions have left the Saints woefully short of true "difference makers".
