Yeah you could see Cooks gaining inches on every step he took. Just amazing.

I just want to say; even though we lost; both sides of the ball played better than I thought they would...

Even with the loss of Breaux; I'm excited to see the rookies play...

One of my worries is the lack of the teams ability to close games out. That Lutz FG should have been a TD and th game would have been dead.

Whe i have watched the Pats or Seattle especially in the past few years if they had the lead or where level and had possesion with 5 mins on the clock you new a long 4 min plus drive was on the cards and they'd see out the game. The Saints dont play the clock well these days imo

Exactly, why don't they just trade him if they don't want to use him? As I said we have not really ran it consistently with one back late since PT left.

We havent been able to close games out since mid season 2013 when we lost to the patriots, only needing a first down to win.

Sorry to say, but this team is not going anywhere until some coaching changes are made. Payton just hires his friends and refuses to accept that our LB's are piss poor every season, Our D line is invisible every season and he can't handle the clock management duties at all.

I am beginning to creep into the "change coach's" crowd. For some reason, no one on Defense feels it is necessary to turn your head and look for the ball. All Robinson had to do was turn his head. Thats it, no penalty, game over.

Crawley was exactly the same, instead of getting his hands up or locating the ball he just held Crabtrees jersey and let him catch it uncontested.

It has to be the coaching staff, it's the only consistent thing about our D, cant locate the ball.

Re: Game Day - Opening Day: Oakland Raiders vs New Orleans Saints

Crawley played like a rookie, so why beat the guy up over it?!?

I question letting Cortland Finnegan geaux to get another guy who was inactive...

And I don't know what Bill Johnson was getting his arse chewed for by Payton, maybe substitution errors, but after that effort, he should be dismissed...

If that doesn't send the message that the defensive line effort is unacceptable, then it's time to ship people out...

One, One Damn Pressure without blitz the whole game?!? Johnson has to geaux, this unit has been underwhelming for way too long...
