Vikings got it and transitioned to Kendricks. Cowboys probably moved Sean Lee outside for similar reasons. I guess the Saints didn't get the memo. |

Re: Defense good for a 1/2
Drafting another fast LB who can run sideline to sideline and arrive with bad intentions is a necessity.
James L looked over whelmed and beaten out there. Side note: While we were getting gashed up the gut, where was Byrd? Is he simply taking up space in center field? Those are his responsibilities to make plays. Not very effective. 7-9 still sounds accurate. |

Re: Defense good for a 1/2
If we can't hold teams to 20, it will be a long season.
I can hardly imagine no sacks, pressures or turnovers EVERY week. Can our defense really end up 31 or 32 again? Is that possible? I don't think so. As the front 7 improves, I think it all gets better. Side note - Brees got hit a LOT! That has to change too. |

Re: Defense good for a 1/2
I honestly think Gwacham & Edebali would give the pass rush a better chance, because that Cleveland guy starting all 16...idk about that

Re: Defense good for a 1/2
Del Rio spits on Dennis Allen and the defense, some of it hits Payton as the "boss". What a character building effort for the Raiders and put down for the Saints.

Only one was potentially nasty. O Line actually looked much improved, although most of our passes were quick. |
