Re: PFF Grades for the Saints vs Raiders

One of our guys made their best of the week team:

"Slot receiver: Willie Snead, New Orleans Saints, 86.8

Even what could have been a critical fumble doesn’t keep Snead out of this team, thanks to catching all nine passes thrown his way for 172 yards and a touchdown. Snead was open all day against Oakland, and gained 51 of his yards after the catch."

And one of our guys sadly made their worst of the week team:

"Cornerbacks: Ken Crawley, Saints, 30.4; and Bradley Roby, Broncos, 31.1

Another year, another Saints corner making this team. Crawley was targeted seven times on Sunday and allowed six catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. He didn’t fare well in the run game, either, and missed three tackles on the day. Roby had a tough go of things in coverage, too, allowing five-of-seven completions for 69 yards. While that doesn’t seem too bad, many of those catches were big first downs, and he also missed a tackle in the game."

"When you get into one of these groups, there's only a couple of ways you can get out. One, is death; the other, is mental institutions."

Our DB's, versus the giants and odell beckham, on the road.....sounds like another loss to me.

I didn't see the DT's play that well. What do I know?

Also, Stephone Anthony played 13 snaps yesterday....13 snaps.

I dont care how many years laurinitus has in the league, Anthony would not have been run over like that!

What the hell is Dennis Allen doing playing Michael Mauti more than Stephone Anthony?

Another promising draft pick that we have forced to switch positions and won't achieve success until he finds a new team because our coaches suck.

Thought this was worth sharing ... you'll have to clink inside the box to enlarge. James L and Crawley graded the worst on D.

Our O-line will have a good test in the Giants game. They held up against Oakland yesterday. Our G's played way better than I saw in preseason. Del Rio give every team the reciepe to beating our D, that didn't take but 3 quarters of the 1st game of the season, just run the ball up the middle and pick on our young cb's.

Our edge rushers had a very very bad game. Kruger and Tapp had better games than Jordan. Edebali and Jordan both under 47.

It's amazing how long ago 2009 was.
Can someone please figure out how to break me off some defense.

Anthony should have never left the MLB spot. I'm not huge on Anthony but he's not terrible in the middle. If he goes back there he'll need help from both OLB but watching Laurintus play he wouldn't do as bad as Laurintus getting trucked like he did.
