Re: Sean Payton's press conference
Anyone who thinks they saw the same team yesterday that they've been seeing the last two years either didn't watch the game, didn't understand what they were seeing, or drank too much to retain any of it. This team has a lot of potential, and when they put it together, don't come crawling back to the bandwagon.
Go watch it again. There WAS pressure, but Carr got rid of it in less than 2 seconds most of the game. We played well up until the 4th quarter (and if you think that losing 1 corner caused us to give up 22 by himself, you're delusional). That will be fixed. We had SO many players where it was their absolute first NFL game. In a game like that, against someone like the Raiders, just a few little things can result in a loss. They're not basement sweepers any more, they're a good football team. Give them credit, they're playing with the type of confidence we did in 2009. But I assure you, Sean is different, this team is different, and in a vastly better way. |
