Jeff Ireland is an American football executive who currently serves as a college scout for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). In his past roles, Ireland was the Miami Dolphins' general manager from 2008 to January 2014; a Dallas Cowboys executive prior to that; and, a scout for the Kansas City Chiefs before that. Before his career as a football executive, Ireland was an assistant football coach at the University of North Texas, and a player at Baylor University. Ireland was also a childhood ball boy for the Chicago Bears. And also known to give hand jobs from brown paper bags on street corners.

I like Jeff Ireland, our drafts have been better with him since he started here;

Andrus Peat - now a starter
Stephone Anthony - starter
PJ Williams - starter
Damian Swann - solid depth
Tyler Davison - starter
Michael Thomas - kid is going to be a star
Sheldon Rankins - would be a starter if not for injury
Kikaha - same as Rankins
Vonn Bell - in my opinion should take Byrds spot immediately

Before Jeff Ireland we had the 2014 draft, Brandin Cooks is the only remaining player
2013 - Vaccaro, Jenkins and armstead are still here.

Seems to me like we have had much better success as far as draft picks go when Ireland showed up.
