I just spoke to Hartwell's agent and he told me he is working on a deal with the Chiefs. He also said the Rams have come in lately and are making a run, but it seems Ed wants to play in KC. He also informed me that the Saints DID NOT call his office. In other words, we had no interest in signing him.

From what I\'ve heard/read, Hartwell is seeking some major money. Which is why he hasn\'t been signed yet?
I also hear that a deal like Hartwell is seeking would put the Saints in salary cap trouble. Considering they are still looking to upgrade in a couple of other areas and they still have the draft to consider. That is, until the Darren Howard situation gets cleared up. By the way, have you heard anything on the Darren Howard trade possibility? |

I can\'t see why not. They already have one ingredient to making it to the Superbowl (championship running game), why not go all out on defense. If they sign Hartwell or Law, and with the leftovers they have from last year along with the draft, they should be able to contend.

CL, since you are new here, you missed a lot of debates on AB and Haz. I am curious about your opinions on those two. Your opinion on the FO seems obvious.
