The problem is in the developement of players.......we suck at it. Of course we draft poorly so there is an excuse for poor performance.

Does the System make the QB? A few names to toss around. Drew Bledsoe BB won with him. Enter Brady the wining continues with a 6th round QB. Brady goes down and in steps Matt Cassel. A QB who was a career back up at USC. In fact he went 11 - 5, 3,693 yds. 21 TD 11 Int as a starter. Was dangled in front of the rest of the league who needed a "Starting" QB. We know how that went. Present day Brady is suspended so bring on "The Prospect" and remember Matt Cassel. The prospect goes down bring on the "Kid" remember Matt Cassel. Hounerable mention to Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett two other products of the BB QB "System"

There was another great coach who dangled a "Starting QB" every now and then. Don Shula. Who remembers Jim DelGaizo and Scott Mitchell? Ask the Giants and the Lions how those "Starting QBs" worked out!
