Green Re-Signed
Didin\'t they just resign Kenny Smith as well?
If so, this could be a real good indication that they feel good about who they have in DL... And likely wouldn\'t puruse any high draft picks on a DL Just my opinion..could be way off base... [Edited on 10/3/2005 by shadowdrinker] |

Green Re-Signed
Besides a DT in the draft... Whitehead and Green proved to be very capable fill ins when someone is tired or injured. Green will be our next Martin Chase.

Green Re-Signed
Green has worked his tail off to improve his fitness and his skills. He has gone from a street free-agent to average in just over a year.
If he keeps it up thru this off-season we may have a decent 2-gapper. No, he won\'t be great, he may not even approach being a good one, but he may be OK. I wish our other DT had this kids determination. I don\'t know the extent of Kenny Smiths injury be he was making strides before he got hurt. Having him back will also help. The bottom line is these guys are solid back-ups that should contribute game to game. Good depth. But I\'d still like to see us grab another DT somehow. |

Green Re-Signed
I like Green and I think he can be a good DT, not just average. I\'d put my money on him starting before I\'d put it on Sully.... Green will remain the better player this year. That\'s my guess.
