Simple we cant with this team its over. We would be 1 and done in the playoffs which this team will never get to unless everyone else loses and we are gifted the spot. We will never earn it. Team has no heart the season for a SB is over. |

Re: Seasons over
Sean/Carmichael are just as responsible as any of the other coaches. I don't care what the scoreboard says, the offense is a huge problem.
To be honest, Drew's ability to throw these crazy accurate passes and throw people open who aren't open is making our offense look a whole lot better than it really is. If we had better playcalling, with the way Drew is executing now, we would look like the 1999 Rams and our defense wouldn't even hardly matter. They are going to ruin Michael Thomas' development and career if they insist on sending him on a slant every single play. Atlanta finally caught on to the predictability and it cost us the game. Oh, and our first play after the pick 6? Another slant to Michael Thomas! Are you kidding me??? About one in every ten plays you will see something innovative that actually works, like the last Ingram TD. But the rest of the time it is the same predictable crap, like knowing that every time when Cadet goes into the game that the ball will be going to him. Atlanta's defense is horrible, and a real NFL defense would have made us pay a lot more tonight. |

Although, it's only fair to see what Fleener does the rest of the season to see if he gets more comfortable so I agree there. |

Re: Seasons over
All this BS about injuries... quit making excuses. MIN and NE are 3-0 and both are playing with not only injuries, but injuries to their BEST players. To equate that to our team, it would be like Drew getting injured yet still being 3-0.
Good teams win, regardless of injuries. Fact is Payton is an average coach, with decent offensive mind. He got fortunate to have Greg Williams from 2009 to 2011. Greg Williams helped build the "Payton" legacy. |

WR Devin Fuller CB Akeem King CB DeMarcus Van Dyke Falcons Out Week 3 LB Paul Worrilow OLB De'Vondre Cambell Other than Worrilow, ever heard of these guys? Saints IR LB 44 - Hau'oli Kikaha FS 33 - Jamarca Sanford CB 24 - Kyle Wilson WR 12 - Kyle Prater DE 77 - D.J. Pettway CB 43 - Jimmy Pruitt DB 27 - Damian Swann TE 84 - Michael Hoomanawanui OT 74 - Tyrus Thompson DT 98 - Sheldon Rankins CB 25 - P.J. Williams Saints out Week 3 CB Delvin Breaux LB Dannell Ellerbe WR Willie Snead TE Josh Hill T Terron Armstead DT Tyeler Davison S Kenny Vaccaro Don't think for a minute that injuries don't matter in this league. Or just saying "next man up" actually means anything. Jarius Byrd was the only active member of the secondary that was even on the team last year. The Saints did fine on offense. Over 100 yards rushing at 5.0 ypc, Over 350 yards in the air. 7-11 on 3rd down. Won the clock. And they went 4 of 5 in the Redzone. If they had even half those defensive guys listed above, they run the Falcons outta the building. The Saints lost by 13 points. A pick six and an 11 yard drive following the stupidest muffed punt I've ever seen, were the difference in the game. Yeah, our 2nd string defense (and that's being generous) couldn't stop the number one offense in the league but their 1st string defense couldn't stop ours either. |

We keep finding ways to lose, injuries obviously are a back breaker, but even before we started getting injured we were not a good team. 2 straight 0-4 preseasons, preseason matters, people need to wise up a little on that. We found ways to lose way before a ton of our starters went down. In the last 15 home games we are 4-11, what's the reason for that? What's the reason for back to back 7-9 seasons and an 0-3 start, the answer is Payton and his buddies. |
