Byrd Has Been Benched

Byrd always looked like the mind was willing...
The body just wouldn't go: gears slipping, sputtering and back firing...
Always a step or three late.
He can definitely help the younger guys with his experience and support.
Kind of expensive for a DB coach.

Bench anyone who gets beat a lot, misses blocks, misses tackle and commits turnovers. we have 3 fumbles and 3 interceptions thru 3 games and are plus one on takeaways. We're ranked 12th best in penalties. We're 6th in total offense. We've allowed the most points in the NFL but we're 3rd in points. There are a lot of bright spots for us so far and I agree get rid of the crap and start the younger players. Even if we end up 7-9 and the younger players kill next season that's better than having no chance at all with the older used up models.

Was it because Byrd was kneeling for the national anthem during the game?
